Cakes and Cupcakes

All my cakes are lovingly home-made using fresh ingredients. It is recommended that they are eaten within 48 hours of receiving them to taste them at their best. I don’t like to skimp on taste or quality. I use free range eggs and quality vanilla extract in our recipes. I am able to create gluten-free cakes. If you have any dietary requirements, please get in touch and I'll see what I can do.

Flavours:
Cupcakes are available in the following delicious flavours:
  • Vanilla
  • Chocolate
  • Lemon
  • Orange
  • Chocolate orange
  • Mint chocolate
  • Carrot
  • Caramel
  • Red velvet

Toppings:
Feel free to mix and match the flavours according to what you fancy!

Choose from the following toppings, available in flavours to complement the cake flavours listed above:

  • Traditional butter cream (real butter, icing sugar) is the most popular topping for cupcakes.
  • Frosting (vegetable fat such as Stork or Trex instead of butter, icing sugar) is a softer and creamier texture than traditional butter cream but doesn't hold as well in the heat.
  • Swiss meringue butter cream (made using meringue and butter) is an alternative that holds colours much better and has a rich, glossy finish. It is far less sweet than butter cream or frosting.
  • Cream cheese frosting (cream cheese, butter, icing sugar) is a nice alternative to traditional butter cream. It is less sweet and perfectly complements a red velvet or carrot cake.
  • Chocolate cream (Elmlea, chocolate) is a delicious alternative to butter cream. It's made using whipped Elmlea combined with melted chocolate. It tastes devine and is not too sweet.

Decorations:
Decorations can be any of the following:

  • Sprinkles
  • Edible glitter
  • Sugar paste shapes, letters, flowers
  • Sweets
  • Chocolates
  • Fresh fruit
  • Printed icing/rice paper
  • ....whatever you fancy!

Above is a selection of what I have already used on my cakes but I am always on the lookout for new ideas. I am able to produce printed icing or wafer paper. Why not opt for a cake with a photograph on it? Printed icing/wafer paper can be sold separately if you wish to bake yourself but would like personalised cake toppers. Prices:
  • 12 cupcakes from £15
  • 24 cupcakes from £30
The above prices are to act as a guide. Cupcakes are priced per individual order, depending upon your specific requirements so I’d prefer to quote a price just for you! Please contact me to discuss your requirements and for a quote.

Delivery:
There is no charge if you collect your cakes yourself. If you would like them delivered in Doncaster or Leeds, this can be done for a small charge to cover the cost of fuel. Price to be agreed upon ordering.
